The heart of the exhibit is an amazing diorama of the area complete with operational model trains. The attention to detail will make your jaw drop. I felt envious of the two gentlemen who were inside the diorama operating the trains. We had a very pleasant conversation with the curator, who came out to welcome us. They even had a scavenger hunt whereby you searched for items in the diorama and checked them off on a sheet of paper. Our son really got into the hunt and found all the items.
Admission is free (there is box for donations if you are so inclined).
If you find yourself passing through Cleveland, MS, and have an hour or so to kill, this is an exhibit you definitely won't want to miss.
Far and away the most impressive railway diorama I've ever come across. Perfect for little kids due to the low level of the track and large viewing panels.
