Was recommended by some locals. The place looked awesome couldn't wait to try the food. Saw on the menu... BBQ. But I didn't see brisket in the menu. Ordered the legendary ribs only to find out they don't serve them until 5:00! Wow! Really? Ordered the hamburger steak and fried okra. Nothing spectacular there. Definitely not worth 14.75! Get the same thing back home for 8.00. The tamales were Luke warm. Kids ordere cheese sticks... they were no bigger than my pinky finger... 7.50? Really? Don't get me started on the salad bar, or lack there of. I was really hoping to experience what north Mississippi had to offer. Hopefully for the business it was bad day. Walked in excited, walked out disappointed.
It is a beautiful place. Love the decorations, atmosphere. I would give them a 10. Not so much for the food, service, or price. (Which is completely ridiculous, especially considering the food is good. Steaks are bland and the oven boiled ribs where just a bit lacking. Luckily it was small portion so it wasn't much waisted. The waitress, who wasn't busy with tables disappeared for a while. The potatoes salad with my meal was sour and disgusting. And even after I wasn't charged for it, a meal for two, rib plate and a hamburger plate 1 not appetizing appetizer ended up costing around $70 tip not included
They have the best flavored crawfish in town,if you are looking for fresh this place will serve you as fresh as you can get.I would of rated them higher, but the guy bar tender seems to only care about the locals who have been there all their lives.Instead of actually treating new comers as equals.He eventually came around once he started to see that we were there every weekend spending quite a bit of money.
Good food, friendly staff can’t beat the prices.
Food very good. I rated it a 3 because the sandwich and onion rings were extremely greasy. Left very nauseous!
